Delete your account

We're sad to see you go. Here's how to close your Tee-Belles (formerly Fairway Femmes) account and what happens to your data.

From inside the appFastest

The easiest way to delete your account is right from the app. Your account is deactivated immediately, and permanent purge is scheduled after a 30-day grace period.

  1. Open the Tee-Belles app
  2. Go to Settings (from your profile)
  3. Scroll down and tap Delete Account
  4. Confirm your choice when prompted

Once confirmed, you'll be signed out and your account will be scheduled for deletion.

By emailIf you can't access the app

If you can't sign into your account or have uninstalled the app, email us from the address associated with your account:

  1. Send an email to support@fairwayfemmes.app
  2. Use the subject line Account Deletion Request
  3. Include the email address registered with your account

We'll verify your identity and process your request within 7 business days. We may reach out to confirm a few details before deleting the account.

What happens to your data

Deleted

  • Profile (name, photo, handicap, bio)
  • Round logs and scorecards
  • Group memberships
  • Friends, connections, and matches
  • Device and push notification tokens
  • Your saved home location

Retained briefly

  • Abuse and safety reports (for platform integrity)
  • Anonymized analytics (no longer tied to you)
  • Information we're legally required to keep

Kept, but no longer linked to you

Content you sent to other members isn't erased, because removing it would delete parts of other people's conversations and feeds. Instead it is permanently disconnected from your account and shown as [deleted user]. Nothing in it can be traced back to you.

  • Messages sent in direct and group conversations
  • Posts and comments left in the community feed
  • Tee times organised that other members joined

Timeline

Your account is deactivated immediately when you request deletion. Account data is scheduled for permanent purge after a 30-day grace period. Some content and legally required records remain as described above.
